Leah was adopted in October of 2010, but her family could no longer keep her due to her not getting along with small dogs. She was returned to All About Hounds and is on the lookout for a forever home. She is a sweet little girl with a rich brindle coat. She has excellent house manners and can sit on command. She is very loving and adores petting. She cannot live with small dogs or cats, but would be fine with larger dogs.

Leah arrived in Smyrna, Tennessee on July 17th, 2010. She came to us from GPA Emerald Coast in Florida. Leah lived with a foster family in Florida for a short time and this is what they had to say about this beautiful girl…..

Leah is a beautiful, dark brindle girl. She is petite, quiet, affectionate, and well mannered. She gets along with the resident Greyhounds as well as the resident Westie and Italian Greyhound. She is just discovering stuffy toys and is having fun throwing and catching them. She loves being outside. Leah had no trouble adjusting to home life and settled into the daily routine very nicely. She crates easily when time to go to bed or for a couple of hours during the day for our shopping trips, etc. Leah is well on her way to becoming someone’s special companion.

Leah quickly won the hearts of her Tennessee foster family. They report that Leah (nicknamed Leeches) has mastered stairs and although she enjoys pets from her humans is not demanding about it. Leah crates well and gets along famously with the two small dogs in her foster home as well as her two Greyhound foster brothers.. Unfortunately she is not safe with cats.
